replacing Rock Krawler joints with Ballistic chromoly joints

I am spinning this as a review of the ballistic joints I'm going to be adding to my suspension, however, its more of a way to document how relieved I am that I finally made a decision on moving forward. I run a 5.5 inch Rock Krawler long arm lift with all of the stock joints. The lift has over 60,000 miles on it with original joints and I'm ready to add some beef to it (BEEF CAKE! had to say it, not sure why though...).

Soooo, I placed my order today for 9 of these bad boys.

In summary I'll be replacing all krawler joints (all lowers = 8, 1 inch shanks, and the skid side of the front upper .75 shank). This will leave me with the following RK bushings: axle side front upper, the rear upper poly bushings skid side and rear upper heims on the axle side.

I have always had more torque steer than I wanted and it has just gotten worse over time and with the install of the 5.13 gears so I'm hoping that this will steady things out. At the least it will beef it up.

The price was high but I am confident that I'll be pleased with the results.

Also, in RK's defense the replacement bushings would have been a cheap option and probably would have improved the ride again, however, piece of mind and respect for a bling product was the ultimate motivating factor.

I'll be sure to post back with pics and let everyone know how it goes making this a legitimate review of sorts.
